The baking group met for the very first time last Tuesday to talk about areas we might cover over the next few months and to share some old favourite recipes.
Maggie brought delicious scotch pancakes and Joyce brought a really tasty sausage ragout. I am sure either would be happy to share their recipe if asked.
We have decided on a programme of recipe sharing and masterclasses with hints and tips, peppered with an occasional trip out for afternoon tea to see how the professionals do it.
At the moment we are a select group, but more members are most welcome.
The programme for next year will be put together over the next week or so ready to share with the rest of the WI at the October meeting.
